I got the chance to interview the 2025 NFL Draft Prospect:
The first question I asked was: What makes you stand out compared to other defensive backs in the 2025 NFL Draft?
Arsheen Jiles would reply with “What makes me stand out compared to other defensive backs in the draft is my ability to cover, football IQ, and physicality. Being in the press has always been my main strength, so being able to play slot and outside has helped me out a lot. I’m really patient, and I excel with my feet. I’ve always been a person who loved watching film and understanding formations, so my football IQ allows me to play at a fast pace all game. With me being a smaller guy, I’ve always prided myself on being physical and being active in run support.”
I followed up with What should these teams know about you?
Jiles responded with “Teams should know that I’m a very hardworking player that has a strong work ethic on and off the field. For me, I love improving every day with my craft and being able to adapt to new challenges. I’m someone who is going to bring the energy to whichever team I go to and be a great teammate.”
Luca Raccio, a UMass fan, sent in a question: What ways are you preparing for the UMass Proday / Off-season training?
The 2025 Draft Prospect responded with “Preparing for the pro day and offseason training, I will be focusing on my speed and my strength. I want to be able to showcase my speed to the scouts and show that I’m a great athlete. I’m dedicating a lot of my time to getting into top-tier shape and being in my playbook, improving in the film room.”
