Player Summary:
Redshirt Junior. QB starter. Dual-threat QB. Runs well on QB run design plays. He has good speed for his position. Very agile. Has good ball carrier vision. Senses pressure fairly well. Excels when throwing on the run. Has good awareness of the game. Looks to run out of the pocket, but still passes first. Has a solid arm. May need to work on his throwing motion. Don’t let him run out in open space, he’s a running threat. Throws absolute lasers. His play style is similar to Anthony Richardson’s. Has solid decision-making when it comes to throwing the football. Jumpy in the pocket, checks through his progressions well. He’s a leader. Always looks for a touchdown when throwing or running. Sometimes overthrows. Rarely ever looks to throw the ball away.
Scheme Fit:
QB.
Power Statement:
Jalen Milroe is a dual-threat QB with high elusiveness and speed. He is a projected 1st round pick because of his unique ability to make plays both passing and running. He reminds me a little of Anthony Richardson which scares me but under the right circumstances, he can be the next Lamar Jackson. I have him being picked 5th overall to the Las Vegas Raiders in my most recent NFL Mock Draft.
