Ja’Kobe North is a veteran CB from Charleston Southern with extensive experience and the ability to be a key factor on defense and special teams. North possesses a nice frame that allows him to play effectively in press coverage and also has the strength and toughness to execute quality tackles. He displays quality instincts in zone with solid speed that allow him to remain tight in coverage and aggressively attack the ball. He’s been a key contributor on special teams, with a recent blocked field goal against Tennessee Tech this season.
North has risen to the occasion with every team he’s been part of and continues to build off his success. He has been a member Kentucky Christian, Kentucky Wesleyan member and ends his college career at Charleston Southern. He’s developed a solid football IQ having to learn different playbooks from several different coaches in his career. His competitive nature and dedication to his craft made him a viable asset to his team and make him a quality pro prospect in this year’s draft.
