14-year-old football player shot and killed in Maryland
Jai’den Alexander Winchester, a 14-year-old football player was shot and killed late Saturday night in Aberdeen, Maryland.
According to reports, Jai’den Winchester was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Havre de Grace High School ninth grader had been shot in the head and was in cardiac arrest when police arrived, around Monday.
The death is being investigated as a homicide. Detectives are interviewing witnesses and attempting to find a motive.
Winchester is listed on an athletic website as playing junior varsity football for Havre de Grace High School.
