New Jersey Semi-Pro Football Player Killed in Car Accident

Zachary Bautz was a die hard football fan, and an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He was drafted by the New Jersey Eagles semi-pro football team and was a very good athlete since his high school days. We are learning however, the 27-year-old from Maple Shade, New Jersey was killed in a car crash on November 11th, when his box truck struck a bridge abutment.
According to police reports, the accident happened on Veteran’s Day around 6:16 am. Bautz reportedly veered off the road hitting the concrete barrier, causing the truck to roll on it’s side.
Bautz was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Sgt. Jana Klinger at (717) 534-2202.
Please keep the Bautz family in your prayers during this tough time.
