Louisville Football Player Arrested on Strangulation, and Domestic Violence Assault Charges
A Louisville football player was arrested on domestic violence charges on Monday.
Tayon Holloway was charged with first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree domestic violence assault.
Holloway played two seasons at North Carolina before transferring to Virginia. Holloway in his first year with the team has been playing well.
Holloway is a redshirt sophomore from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Louisville released the following statement suspending Holloway from the team while the case is investigated.
“The University of Louisville is aware of the arrest of football student-athlete Tayon Holloway. As we gather more information, Tayon has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities.”
