What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

The constant chess battles the game is. I love how everything matters, down to the littlest events. Every step you take matters, every second of each play can make a huge difference in the outcome of the game. I love how complex and intricate the game is, and I want to be a part of it for as long as I possibly can.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Recreational football holds all of my favorite moments. The most memorable team I played for was the McDonough Cougars. One of my favorite moments was when I ran the opening kickoff back in the Super bowl of our league, the crowd was going crazy, I knew it was going to be on born 2 compete, it was just a great moment.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I’m looking to achieve a long professional career, and everything that comes with that. I want a minimum 10-year career as a professional football player. I want to play at a high level for at least a decade.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Kenny Washington, because he was the first African American player to sign a contract in the NFL. Without people like him, I would not be able to pursue the dream I’m pursuing today.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My little cousins, because they aren’t necessarily aware of many things that come with life, but they chase their dreams with no worries every day to the best of their capabilities.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Nickel 4-2-5, it is a great defense that can combat everything. To pair with that, my favorite coverages are disguised combo coverages, coming out one look and playing something else can be very confusing for the offense.

What should we know about Alex White the person?

The world should know that Alex White is a man that is dedicated to his craft, always aiming for new heights.

What stands out about your film the most?

My ability to get off and around blocks and make plays; and keep the integrity of the defense. Preventing things from happening by being in position before it can happen.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

By keeping my head and figuring out the best path to take.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a true football player and mind. A student of the game. A guy that prioritizes football in his life. A guy willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win and be the best version of himself.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

How it can bring people from so many different walks of life together. I love being part of the reason people come together and have a great time with each other.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I’ve played with is Arthur White. I have never seen someone put so much time and effort into technique, he is a true technician of the game. A true lockdown and all-around corner. The best cornerback I have ever seen.
