What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
All started when I was a kid when I fell in love with football, I never got a chance to play flag football because coaches said I was too physical and that’s where my love begins when I was playing with older kids all my life just learning the ropes about football and my love grew and grew.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My favorite moment is winning 2022 CIAA championship took a lot of hard work.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My grandpa and my dad, they really pushed and molded me into the player I am today I’ve seen them grind and work hard to keep me in sports while growing up so it really inspired me to work hard through everything.
What is your typical training routine?
I do morning session workouts in weight room, in afternoon I do a lot of field work
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Kion Smith Miami Dolphins tackle, I’ve seen him work to get where he is today, in the offseason that’s who I train with.
What are your favorite things about playing football for Fayetteville State?
The culture it’s a championship culture, Coach Hayes is also a really good man keeps things real with more like a father figure to his team.
What should we know about Michael Todd Jr the person?
I would give anybody the shirt off my back I help everyone and just have a good heart.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
Spread offense, I love to run gap schemes.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
It’s all in how I respond to adversity I just keep going I can’t let anything just stop me, and put all my trust in God.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A hard-worker, a leader, and a competitor.
What stands out about your film the most?
Athleticism and physicality.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
David “Quad” Lawson, Kolby Merritt, and Braydn Kesselring, and they work extremely hard.
