Jared Goff Joins Elite Company with Another Stellar Performance in Lions’ Victory over Vikings
Detroit quarterback Jared Goff completed 22 of 25 pass attempts (88 percent) for 280 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions and a 140.0 passer rating in the Lions’ 31-29 victory at Minnesota.
Goff, who had a 153.8 passer rating in Week 6 and a 155.8 passer rating in Week 4 prior to Detroit’s Week 5 bye, is the fourth quarterback in NFL history with a passer rating of 140-or-higher in three consecutive games, joining Aaron Rodgers (Weeks 7-10, 2011), as well as Pro Football Hall of Famers Roger Staubach (Weeks 11-13, 1971) and Kurt Warner (Weeks 3-5, 1999).
