A Georgia High School football player is dead, after suffering a cardiac issue back on October 1st.
According to reports, the Forsyth County football player Finley Kruchten sufferer a massive pulmonary embolism while in class at Denmark High School. He was rushed to Northside Hospital and then would late transfer to Northside Gwinnett Hospital before passing away.
A massive pulmonary embolism (PE) is a life-threatening condition that occurs when a large blood clot (or multiple clots) blocks one or more of the major arteries in the lungs. This disrupts blood flow and can cause severe strain on the heart, leading to potentially fatal consequences if not treated immediately.
According to the families Go Fund Me Account, on the morning of October 1, 2024, Finley Kruchten faced a life-threatening emergency at school. After suffering cardiac arrest due to a massive pulmonary embolism, he was transported to NS Forsyth and then to NS Gwinnett for life-saving critical care support.
A clot was removed, and Finley was in stable condition, but did not survive the heart attack.
A GoFundMe was created to help the family.
Please pray for the Kruchten family.
