Breaking: Buffalo Bills are bringing in kicker Harrison Mevis for a workout
It was last night, when NFL Draft Diamonds owner Damond Talbot tweeted out that the Bills should bring in the Thiccer Kicker for a workout over a retread kicker and the Bills listened!
I had the pleasure of working with Harrison Mevis at the Hula Bowl, and the ball absolutely jumps off his foot!
The Indiana native balled out at Missouri and was easily one of the top kickers in the country coming out of the draft.
Mevis attended Warsaw Community High School in Warsaw, Indiana. Ranked the number 8 overall kicker in the class of 2020, he committed to Missouri.
Mevis kicked a 61-yard field goal to win the game against K-State, which fans rushed the field because the kick broke the record for the longest field goal in SEC history.
Mevis is a 5’11 kicker who weighs 240 pounds, which is why he earned the name the Thiccer Kicker. Mevis has ice in his veins and is one of the best young kickers available.
Mevis was signed by the Panthers after the draft and was let go. The team kept Eddy Piniero, but Mevis is one of the best on the market! I hope Bills find a way to add Mevis to their Practice Squad.
