Pennsylvania High School Football Team Smashes Their Opponents with Only 11 players
You have to love an underdog story. Ther is one team in Pennsylvania who only has 11 total players. A high school in Pittsburgh called Westinghouse High School was able to beat their opponents 68-0 this past Friday with only 11 players.
Remember, you cannot play a game if you do not have 11 players. There are always 11 players on the field at once, and these same 11 players played special teams, defense, and offense.
This is a pretty amazing story, and should be recognized.
If Westinghouse would have suffered one injury their game would have been in jeopardy, but they came out against Perry Traditional Academy and hung a goose egg on them.
Westinghouse has a history of winning games against Perry Traditional Academy in dominating fashion, winning a matchup earlier this season also by a 68-0 mark.
The reason the Westinghouse team only had 11 players is because many of their teammates participated in a fight or left the bench during an altercation against University Prep the week before.
