Top Division 3 Football Matchups of Week 8

This is Justin from Draft Diamonds here with my top Division Three matchups of Week 8. Below you will see which teams are in these matchups along with players on them.

University of Wisconsin-Platteville at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh

The Pioneers visit the Titans in this one. Trae Tetzlaff senior receiver leads the way for the Oshkosh offense with 438 receiving yards and 4 touchdown receptions in 2024. For the Pioneers defense they have sophomore defensive back Harrison Meyer who holds 29 tackles and 9 PBUs this season. Platteville’s offense contains senior wide receiver Brandt Stare who has 348 receiving yards and 4 receiving touchdowns this year. Defensively for the Titans they have junior linebacker Kyle Dietzen who has 42 tackles, and 4 PBUs this season.

Grove City College at Washington & Jefferson College

Another fun PAC matchup this week. For the President’s offense they have John Peduzzi, a junior wide receiver who has 690 receiving yards and 9 touchdown receptions this year. Senior defensive end Bryce Spolnik has 5 1/2 TFLs and 4 1/2 sacks for Grove City in 2024. The Wolverines offense has junior offensive lineman Luke Jollie who is a force on the offensive line for opponents. Washington and Jefferson’s defense has senior defensive lineman Avery Keith who has 6 1/2 TFLs and 4 1/2 sacks this year. 

University of Wisconsin Stout at University of Wisconsin River Falls

Another interesting battle in Wisconsin. The Falcons are led defensively by 6′ 4″  Dylan Brown who has 20 tackles and 3 PBUs in 2024. For the Blue Devils offense they have sophomore wide receiver Carter Zezulka who has 191 receiving yards and 2 touchdown receptions this season. Stout’s defense has sophomore defensive back Dawson Goodman who holds 27 tackles and 4 PBUs in the year. Stephen Reifenberger, sophomore wide receiver for River Falls has 201 receiving yards and 1 touchdown this season.

Marietta College at Muskingum University

Pioneers at the Muskies good OAC matchup. The Muskies are led offensively by sophomore wide receiver Davion Grant who has 530 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns in the year. Marietta’s defense has junior linebacker Harley Hopkins who holds 40 tackles, 8 TFLS and 4 !/2 sacks this season. For the Pioneers offense they have junior running back Taz Morris who has 401 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns rushes in 2024. Qwestin Litz senior defensive back for Muskingum has 30 tackles, 5 PBUs and 3 TFLs this season for the defense.

Shenandoah University at Bridgewater College

This is one of my under the radar division 3 matchups in week 8. The Eagles are led by senior wide receiver Cedric Drumgoole who has 363 receiving yards and 5 receiving touchdowns this year. Shenandoah’s defense contains junior linebacker Matt Conroy who has 47 tackles, 4 1/2 TFLs and 3 PBUs this season. The Hornets offense contains fifth year wide receiver Broden Domenico who holds 377 receiving yards and 4 touchdown receptions in 2024. Bridgewater’s defense has senior defensive back Noah Hines who has 6 PBUs this year.
