What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
My adaptability, IQ of the game, and leadership both on and off of the field. Ever since my middle school football days, I have never played under the same offensive coordinator for more than two years. With each coaching change, I have been able to learn so much about the game of football than I could have ever imagined. Obviously, leadership is paramount as a QB. I have always believed that playing QB is not just a position, but a lifestyle. I live my life every day doing the right things to reflect my family, my teammates, my school, my community, and myself in a positive manner.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I will do whatever it takes to win. In addition, my loyalty and commitment to your franchise will be unmatched. In the college football world of transferring and NIL, not once did I ever think about leaving Slippery Rock. I am a man rooted deep in my faith and in my word. I committed to Slippery Rock to obtain a degree and win championships.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
Education and Christian outreach programs.
Who was your role model?
In terms of life, my Mom and Dad have and always will be my role models. In terms of football, I have always admired Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Tim Tebow for each of their impacts on the football field and beyond.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
I have never had one. I have always enjoyed just watching and learning ball.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
It is hard to pick just one. We have a team full of great football players, but even better people.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Laziness
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Jon Gordon. I love his faith, positivity, and outlook on life in general. I highly recommend reading his books and listening to his podcast.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
In life outside of football, I have been extremely blessed with a mom, dad, and entire family who supported me and continue to support me in anything I do. Growing up as a multi-sport athlete, I was faced with a countless amount of adverse moments on a regular basis. In football, one of my most difficult moments was waiting my turn to be the starting QB at Slippery Rock. As someone who will always find positives in a negative situation, I took it as a learning opportunity. Was this tough with my burning desire to compete and start from the jump? Absolutely. However, I trusted that God always has a plan and puts me right where I am supposed to be.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
Chipotle. 100%.
What is your favorite snack food?
Popcorn
What is your degree in?
Sport Management with a Minor in Leadership.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Michael Jordan to tap into his mind about his drive and what it took for him to be so elite. Tom Brady to talk schemes and fully understand what it takes to be one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit… the faces of college football. I grew up watching College Gameday every Saturday morning.
What is your biggest weakness?
My perfectionist mindset.
