Player Summary

RS Senior from Marietta, GA. Transferred to UNLV prior to the 2022 season after two years with Michigan State. Utilized in the slot, outside, and put in motion frequently in UNLV’s offense. Lean, slender build. Looks even lighter than verified measurables. Struggles to get off the line when jammed. High level quickness and athleticism in route running. Above the line speed, but not enough to truly take the top off a professional defense. Runs crisp routes, does a good job of finding soft spots in zones and settling. Adjusts to zones as the play develops. Confidently runs across the middle and is willing to take a hit for a target. Highly competitive at the catch point. High points the ball well. Willing to fight defenders in the air. Catches with his hands, consistently away from his body. Excellent body control and extension to catch along sidelines. Great ball security after the catch, maintaining possession even when defenders are hanging off his arm. Good burst and vision to burst through running lanes. Fights for extra yardage on contact. Willing blocker, but his size limits how successful he can be in this aspect. Does a good job of putting himself between defenders and the ball carrier. Overall, an impressive player that projects to be an early contributor as a pro.

Scheme Fit:

He would best fit in an offense that plays him out of motion and different alignments, allowing him to get free releases and take advantage of defensive alignment.

Power Statement:

White is a competitive receiver who overcomes limited size with good speed and impressive football IQ. With his skillset, he can immediately step into a contributing role for an NFL team in 2025 and be a starter by year 3. I would expect him to be a late day 2 selection in the 2025 draft.
