Player Summary:

Quarterback with marginal height and adequate weight possessing broad shoulders, a thin torso and toned extremities with slightly high cut legs. Good athlete with very good acceleration, good foot speed, COD, fluidity, lateral agility and solid balance. Marginal processing and decision making within pocket, lacking pre-snap read ability while making adequate decisions with the ball and playing with marginal route anticipation. Adequate arm strength overall with solid ability to push ball downfield while possessing marginal zip to get throws into tight windows. Adequate overall accuracy with solid accuracy underneath and into flats while possessing marginal touch on those throws, leading to misses that lead to incompletions. Solid poise within pocket, possessing good ability to process pressure and work to hot while possessing good competitive toughness to hang in pocket and deliver. Good creator out of structure and on the run, utilizing athletic ability to evade pressure while keeping eyes downfield, still limited by some processing but is the best way success has been found thus far. Good as runner, both in designed runs and in scrambles, using good vision and very good acceleration to quickly make cuts and decisions to get into space while possessing adequate ball security.

QB in a simplified offense which utilizes check down passes designed for YAC and occasional deep throws over the middle while utilizing strengths as a runner in designed runs.

Power Statement:

Good college football quarterback who excels underneath with poise while possessing good athletic ability and ability as a ball carrier but lacks processing and arm talent necessary to translate to NFL level as a high-end prospect.
