Week 2 was an exciting showcase for HBCU football, with standout performances from programs like UAPB, Florida Memorial, and Clark Atlanta, who all secured big wins. The week also featured some impressive offensive displays across the league.
Top Performers:
- Javonnie Gibson (UAPB): The wide receiver had a stellar performance with 6 receptions for 172 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his big-play ability.
- Quarterback Play:
- Jacobian Morgan (Jackson State): Morgan was efficient and effective, completing 9 of 11 passes for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Daniel Richardson (FAMU): Facing the Hurricanes, Richardson held his own, completing 13 of 17 passes for 131 yards, with one interception.
