Former Patriots Football Player Arrested for Attacking an 82-year-old Man at Planet Fitness
Former New England Patriots player Patrick Pass was arrested Wednesday in Rhode Island after police said he attacked an 82-year-old man during an argument over exercise equipment inside Planet Fitness.
Pass is being charged with assault on a person over 60 years old causing bodily injury.
The assault happened at Planet Fitness in North Providence on August 28th.
Pass was arraigned in a Rhode Island court and bail was set at $10,000 personal recognizance. He was ordered not to have any contact with the victim and is next due in court on January 8.
Pass was drafted in the seventh round of the 2000 NFL Draft and played seven years in the NFL winning three Super Bowls.
