North Dakota State Football Player Arrested for Firing a Gun Into a House
A North Dakota State Bison football player was arrested following a shots fired incident early this morning.
Fargo Police report states Pickett, a redshirt freshman linebacker from Milwaukee, was arrested in connection with the shooting and jailed on three felony charges: terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, reckless endangerment extreme indifference with a dangerous weapon and gun theft — possession.
The incident occurred at 12:55 a.m. in the 1200 block of 11th Street North. According to officers, an argument broke out outside a house party, during which a gunshot was fired into the residence.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
Jaiden Pickett is a redshirt Freshman linebacker who played in NDSU’s Saturday win over Tennessee State.
Pickett was transported to the Cass County Jail.
