Star South Carolina defensive lineman died unexpectedly over the weekend
Blythewood High School star nose tackle Troy Moore passed away unexpectedly over the weekend, and it has crushed the scouting community.
Moore was a star defensive lineman who was being recruited by Clemson and many other teams.
This news is heartbreaking and the entire community is suffering from the loss of the star 16-year-old.
His head coach at Blythewood said, “He was always the last player out, but he had a big smile even as he’s leaving, he always asked, ‘What can he do to help out the program’? ‘What did we need’? ‘Anything’? Could he do something for somebody else. And again, that’s just the character of who he was,”
The cause of Troy Moore’s death is unknown at this time.
Funeral services are at 1:00 p.m. at the Second Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia.
