SR and 2 yr. full-time starter at EDGE where he aligns in a 2 pt stance as well as in a 5T and Wide 9 in the defense of MABC across several fronts. He possesses marginal height with below-average weight and ordinary speed with a muscular build. He is a solid athlete showing good explosiveness and COD with sufficient acceleration, lateral quickness and agility with average balance and sufficient play speed. He is a solid pass rusher. He shows good get-off covering a lot of ground in his first 3 steps and possesses a sufficient pass rush move repertoire consisting of a bullrush, swat and swim and rip move. He dips his shoulder as he gets under the pads of OT with subpar flexibility. He exhibits solid counter ability as he transitions from a bullrush to a swim or rip move. He plays with a good motor before finishing up with a sack or QBH. He exhibits solid lateral quickness and agility as he twists and stunts inside. In rare instances where he is asked to be in coverage, he shows solid awareness in zone as he reads the QB while defending the curl and is able to cover RB with adequate play speed on wheel routes.  He is good against the run. He is quick off the ball and shows above-average UOH in his punch, placement and timing with solid play strength as he disengages from OT/TE with marginal grip strength. He shows good FBI as he keys and diagnoses before making the tackle on inside runs behind the LOS for a TFL. He displays sufficient range when defending the outside run. Above-average mental toughness enables him to elevate his play while in the red zone as well as on 3rd down. Ordinary hip and ankle flexion prevents him from consistently bending at the apex which enables OT with good flexibility to stalemate him. Lack of quality size prevents him from quickly disengaging from OT with good size and grip strength.
