Apalachee assistant coach Ricky Aspinwall who was killed in a school shooting, lived for football
Ricky Aspinwall was one of four people killed Wednesday during a shooting at Apalachee High School in Barrow County, Georgia this week.
The 39-year-old math teacher and football team’s defensive coordinator was a Rome native, and an “intense coach who lived football”, according to their head coach.
Ricky Aspinwall lost his life protecting his students. A GoFundMe was created to help raise money for his wife Shayna Aspinwall for expenses she will have to incur and to make sure her two precious babies are taken care of.
The GoFundMe already has close to 400k dollars raised. Ricky Aspinwall was a true hero. Please keep the family of him and the other families effected in your prayers.
