Player Summary:
Zak Wallace is a senior transfer. Played 3 Seasons at (TNMT) before moving on to (ARST) in 2023.Wallace has above-average height, built upper body stature, decent arm length with good definition, with a better than average thicker lower body frame. Wallace has misleading foot quickness. Patient runner that flashes above-average initial quickness and burst when a hole opens. Average cutting ability but can make people miss. Running style is more in between the tackles but has a solid ability to separate when he gets into the open field. Violent runner, who searches for and can run through contact, showing great overall balance where he’s able to constantly gain yards and fall forward after taking 2-3 shots in the hole. Solid blocker, able to slide and punch, picking up stunts and exotic blitzes well. His good strength allows him to stand defenders up and drive feet to buy the QB time and doesn’t necessarily need to go low and chop. An average route runner; can catch the ball out the backfield and line up on the wide side. Uses his hands sufficiently, having good body control and ability to adjust to the ball in the air, not overly dynamic as a pass catcher in the open field. Good production, showing he can be very effective has an every-down back or one of the backs in rotation.
Scheme Fit:
RB
Power Statement:
Zak Wallace is an overall solid running-back with good physical and play-style traits that will help ascend any rb room he’s added to.
