What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
I demand respect from defenses. Everywhere I go 90% of the time I’m bracketed and even then, I still find a way to get open. My quickness in and out my breaks and my top end speed is what separates me from others. I have a quick twitch and have a versatile game. I can catch a touchdown, run for a touchdown, and throw a touchdown so whatever my team needs, I’ll do it.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I’m a selfless, hardworking leader who puts team goals before my own. I’m a natural born competitor and I make my teammates better on and off the field. I have a constant will to get better and if you pull the tape, you will see that I’ve gotten better each year. I have a strong ability to get open and when the ball touches my hands, the party is just getting started. My yards after catch have been a standout aspect of my game throughout my college career. My first touchdown during my freshman year was a 5-yard slant that I took for an additional 70 yards, and I never looked back since.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
World hunger. There’s so much food in the world and seeing influencers like Mr. Beast do so much as one person, imagine what all the billionaires/millionaires could do.
Who was your role model?
My dad. Him having a family of 5 (including himself) and getting everything stripped from us and moving somewhere to start fresh, all with no complaints. He raised us and put us in the best position to succeed. His resiliency in hard times is the reason why I am who I am today.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
New Orleans Saints
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
David Hargro. He’s one of the quietest people on the team and one of the hardest workers. He never complains about anything the coaches ask him to do and he sacrifices himself for the team.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
People who don’t have anything going for themselves but talking negatively on the people trying to get somewhere.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Coach Adrian Steele. He became my receiver coach right before my sophomore year and he’s taught me way more than to just be a good receiver. He gives me life tips and lessons that he’s learned over his years of living. Instead of just being a good football player, he molded us into becoming great fathers, great husbands, and great individuals in society. He is the only coach from my high school that I am still in contact with.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Breaking my ankle during my 7th grade football season
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
Chick-fil-A
What is your favorite snack food?
Hawaiian Rolls
What is your degree in?
Business
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Nipsey Hussle, Tupac, and my grandfather. I have plenty of questions to ask them and just to hear/see what they went thru during their time.
What is your biggest weakness?
The criticism I give myself. I could have the best game in someone else’s eyes but to me it could be one my worst games.
