What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
The biggest thing that makes me a top prospect for my position in the 2025 NFL Draft is my experience, knowledge, and availability. I have started almost every game of my collegiate career which gives me a level-up on my peers as I have seen countless different plays, and playstyles, and been able to be in many situations and atmospheres. This tags along to the knowledge aspect as because I could see so much, I pick up on different formation alignments as well as what the situation is that allows me to play faster than most because I know where the offense is trying to get the ball or what play they are trying to run so I can alert my teammates. A saying most people have heard is “The best ability is availability” and as I have stated earlier, I have never missed a practice or game while in college.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
One thing NFL teams should know about me is that I am a highly-competitive. I was doubted as early as my high school days when a recruiter told me the best he saw me going was “low-level FCS at best.” From then, I was a preferred walk-on at Indiana State who played in the Missouri Valley and turned out to be a four-year starter, captain, Freshman-All American, and so on. I will never give up, no matter how hard the task is.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I don’t know if this is necessarily a cause but it would be to my brother’s memorial scholarship, George W. Brown Memorial Scholarship, that is offered at the University of Cincinnati for students pursuing a degree at UC’s College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning. It is just another way for me to keep his name alive and continue his legacy.
Who was your role model?
My role models are my older brother and my father. My older brother always showed me no matter how hard life gets still keep pushing. My father is one as he is my outlet for advice and shows me how to go about different situations that I have faced and will face.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
The Pittsburgh Steelers. I have been a fan of them since the Superbowl they won against the Arizona Cardinals because of their hard-hitting defense. They are the reason I play defense in the first place and fell in love with doing so at an early age.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Gianini Belizaire is one of the hardest-working individuals I know and does not get the recognition he deserves. He deserves a shot at the next level and will make someone’s franchise happy.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is when people smack while eating food. It annoys me because they are one eating with their mouth open, and two making an annoying sound over and over again.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My favorite teacher ever is probably Mr. Bradley my sixth grade teacher. The reason was that he had interesting interests and always cracked jokes. He made school fun and enjoyable for not only me but my peers as well.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
The hardest in my life to overcome was the passing of my brother at the end of my second year in college. Going through that made me realize some things about myself I did not know before and I am just glad he is still with me everywhere I go.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
If I had one franchise restaurant in my house it would probably be Buffalo Wild Wings. I love their wings and potato wedges and the sports atmosphere makes it the best place to eat.
What is your favorite snack food?
My favorite snack is chips because they are the easiest to take and eat anywhere and at any time.
What is your degree in?
I have an undergrad degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Sports Management.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
If I could have dinner with three people dead or alive I would probably choose Lebron James, Ray Lewis, and Drake because they are three people who were or still are at the top of their respective industries, and just want to listen to them talk about how they got to be the best at what they do for a good period.
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is that I am not as athletic as the next guy, but my knowledge of the game allows me to make up for it with play speed.
