North Carolina Central football player Terrance Howard was struck and killed by a car
A former Alabama walk-on football player who recently transferred to North Carolina Central was hit and killed by a car.
According to reports, former Ridge Point High School star football player Terrance Howard died in a North Carolina hospital where he was trying to recover from injuries.
Howard was a 2022 graduate of Ridge Point High School in Missouri City, Texas where he was described as a “shining star and dedicated athlete.”
Howard played as a walk-on at the University of Alabama before transferring to North Carolina Central University where he received a full-ride scholarship.
Howard was moving his belongings from Alabama to Durham when he was involved in a traffic accident. When got out of his vehicle to check on the other motorist, Howard was struck by a car.
A GoFundMe was created for funeral expenses and has already raised over 45k dollars.
