What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Coming from an athletic family and it was always a sport I gravitated towards.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Last year when I switched to wide receiver from quarterback, I ran a post and made a great catch and that’s when I became a wide receiver because of my athletic ability.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad, because he was the one who pushed me and kept me in to football and my uncle, who played for the Titans who really inspired me to be where I am.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

Starting with fall camp getting to bond with the whole team and being successful as a team and individually making plays to help the team win.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Calvin Johnson, my idol who I look up to and I’d love to pick his brain and talk about his career.

What are your favorite things about playing football for Missouri S&T?

Being able to meet everyone else in that athletic department and everyone I’ve met through S&T, student wise as well and parents and fans who come and watch the games.

What should we know about CJ Wiggins the person?

I like to fish alot and be outside.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Spread, because as a wide receiver I’d like to run out of trips a lot or running tight doubles.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Whatever happens, happens and keep moving and looking forward.

What would a team get in player like you?

Everything positive and try to uplift my teammates.

What stands out about your film the most?

My raw abilities and my hands, raw abilities because I switched to wide receiver a week before last season and I make consistent catches with my hands.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

David Jordan the quarterback from West Los Angeles CC, he had a really good arm and he should’ve gotten more looks than he did.
