Deion Sanders compares Travis Hunter to Charles Woodson and Champ Bailey
Deion Sanders was able to land Travis Hunter and has been a huge fan and supporter of the 5-star dual athlete.
Deion was talking to media and compared Travis to both Charles Woodson and Champ Bailey as corners, but even through it out there that Hunter is the best wide receiver in the NCAA too.
That is a pretty big praise:
“He’s something we haven’t seen in college football. Charles Woodson was HIM, Champ Bailey was HIM, those guys are unbelievable… but (Travis) he’s the best WR in college football and he’s the best CB in college football.”
Hunter was super impressive last season for the Buffaloes. He finished with 57 receptions for 721 yards and 5 touchdowns, but on defense he had 3 picks to go along with 5 passes defended and racked up 30 tackles.
Hunter will build on his All-American status, and I would not be shocked if he is taken in the Top 5 of the 2025 NFL Draft.
