2025 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Tetairoa McMillan – WR – Arizona
Games: COUN (2023), UTUN (2023)
Junior. Starts at WR. Has played both I/O receiver spots, primarily aligns outside. Above average receiver, effective blocker, with below-average speed and burst. Very tall and long receiver prospect – has great height and plenty of room to grow/add bulk. Height and size present matchup problems. Displays good hands especially in traffic, can catch and take a hit over the MOF and hang on to the ball. Can make one-handed, acrobatic catches look easy. Flashes decent RAC and ability to get yards after contact especially on screens. Displays good adjustment to the ball mid-air. Good on-field awareness and keeps plays alive for the QB. Primary drawback is lack of speed and burst. No explosiveness off the LOS. Problems with stance and start – stands straight up pre-snap with little knee bend. Slow in and out of breaks on deeper routes. Struggled v. Travis Hunter with winning one-on-one contested catches. Flashes a good arm when used on trick plays – can hit receivers in stride. Would be a better fit at tight end at the NFL level; effective use as a run blocker would serve him better at that position.
