What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I was born into a sports family and football just came naturally. Everything I did/do involves football so I knew that’s where my heart was set on.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments are playing running back majority of my life, especially in high school. Also switching to the defensive side during my sophomore year of college gave me a brighter perspective of the game.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My little brother Domonique. Seeing him develop into the player and man that he is today at Iowa State, drives me to be a better role model and brother every day.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

This season I’m looking forward to winning a ring with my brothers and getting ready for the next chapter of my career.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Derrick Henry. I’ve watched his game since he was in high school and I idolized my game after his. He’s the reason I wear the #2 and played running back. It’s also my favorite number and people compared me to him all the time.

What is your typical training routine?

Depending on the area of focus, 45min-1hr in the weight room. Then technique/field work for an hour or more.

What should we know about Kevin Orange Jr the person?

I’m a laid-back mix type of person. I am competitive and will run through a brick wall for you if I trust you. I’m a family-first guy and always lend a helping hand to others.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

4-3 or 4-2-5. The blitzes and games that can develop out of these schemes can break an offense’s heart. It’s also exciting to watch your other teammates eat.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Communication is the best way I handle challenges. You have to talk and break out of that inner shell even if it is uncomfortable. Everyone needs to be on the same page no matter the circumstances.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get a player that is willing to sacrifice to win. A player that hates losing has unlimited effort, is coachable, respectful, reliable, has a positive attitude, and has an active voice.

What stands out about your film the most?

What stands out about my film is my speed, athleticism, and versatility. I have a high motor and can play almost any position on the field. That goes for offense and defense.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Sam Webb easily. He has so much knowledge and veteran abilities on and off the field that no one gets to see. He’s a brother who always looks out for me no matter what.
