How much do NFL practice squad players get paid? Former NFL player breaks down the paycheck

Many people ask this question to me, and I think this is pretty cool. Drue Chrisman the former Bengals punter who spent a lot of his first year in the NFL on the practice squad breaks down his practice squad paycheck.
Chrisman gave a detailed account of his weekly income, showing both pay rate and hours worked.
“Let’s look at an NFL paystub, but you’re on the practice squad,” he began. “This is what I made the majority of my first year in the NFL, and what 16 guys make on every NFL team.”

Chrisman was paid a little over $1,300 an hour, working just seven hours in this particular pay period due to COVID guidelines. It is a pretty good breakdown and shows the taxes coming out of his check as well.
Chrisman was making 9,200 dollars before taxes and insurance, but he still brought home 5,941.71. That is close to 24k plus a month!
This is a pretty cool breakdown!
