What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Honestly a lot of my friends played when I was a kid and then I started playing flag football in the 4th grade and then tackle football and I loved playing defensive line, it’s a fun position.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

In my college career beating Minnesota State at their place in 2021 and it made me feel good about how we are as a team.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad, he is a very wise guy and I learn a lot about life from him and I appreciate him.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I’m looking to do better than last year and make a huge run in the playoffs and keep the key at Augie.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Jared Allen, I loved watching him growing up and he was a Vikings guy, and I would love to pick his brain.

The coaching staff, they really understand how to coach, and their experience really shines through and they are unique.

What should we know about Will Davis the person?

I love football, but I love doing things outside of it as well. Such as grilling, playing poker, and watching movies.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

4-2-5, pretty basic but I’m not a fan of a stand-up edge and I like 4 down linemen with hands in the dirt.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Honestly, I like calling my parents especially my dad and talking with them really helps.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A really smart football player who is going to do their job and make plays.

What stands out about your film the most?

My ability to shoot my gun and let it go bang. I’m willing to take risks and most of the time it pays off.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Jack Wilson, defensive tackle for us last year, he is also a guy who is very tough, never complained and did his job which is what you need from a defensive tackle.
