Florida High School football coach arrested during a spring football game

Wesley Chapel football coaching assistant Brian Nelson Mena was arrested, at Central High in Brooksville, during the Wildcats’ spring game against Central.
Mena, a volunteer coaching assistant, was charged with a felony count of an authority figure soliciting or engaging in a romantic relationship with a student, according to the police report.
Hernando County Sheriff’s made the arrest on the 26 year old. Mena is being held without bail at the HCDC.
Mena, who once played football for Wesley Chapel, will face the charges in court soon. He has been relieved of his duties.
