Carson Beck now has the best odds to be the top player selected in the 2025 NFL Draft

Shedeur Sanders was considered the top player to be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, but his numbers began to decrease after taking shots at his former teammate on Twitter.
After he took shots at his former teammates Shedeur’s stock began to slip, and while he was still considered the top prospect to be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, things now have shifted again.
After transferring from Jackson State following the 2022 season, Shedeur Sanders put up some huge numbers his first year in Boulder. In 11 games, he threw for a school- record 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns. Sanders added 394 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He also finished the season with a 69.3% completion percentage, the highest in school history. The wild thing is Shedeur is going to have to prove he can do it again, because Vegas has him slipping.
Georgia quarterback Carson Beck is now the favorite to be the first pick next year at +300, with Sanders next at +450, via FanDuel.
Quinn Ewers from Texas is third being listed at +1400, with Cam Ward coming in at +1700. Travis Hunter and Mykel Williams from Georgia are both ranked at +2200.
