A fourth Arena Football League team suspend operations days after their head coach stepped down

The Minnesota Myth of the Arena Football League have suspended operations just days after their head coach stepped down.
On Friday, Rickey Foggie resigned as the Myth coach. The former Gophers star quarterback, who also was the signal-caller for the arena league’s Minnesota Fighting Pike in its one season in 1996, confirmed the news but did not offer further comment.
Well, the Myth are now shutting it down for the year. According to an email sent out this morning by Lee Hutton’s wife Diana, the activities and operations have been suspended.
The crazy thing is the owners are Diana and Lee Hutton III. Lee Hutton III is the Commissioner of the AFL, and have come under strong criticism as the relaunch of the Arena Football League experienced its latest setbacks this weekend.
The Myth was scheduled to host the Albany Firebirds on Saturday at Target Center but the game was moved to Monday in Albany due to the NBA playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Firebirds announced on Saturday that the game would be canceled after the Myth claimed they could not make the trip to New York.
It is getting ugly. I feel bad for these football players. Lee Hutton III has been hiding.
The AFL has not responded to repeated requests for information for weeks.
