Justin Berendzen’s 2024 NFL Draft Sleepers

Hello, Justin Berendzen from NFL Draft Diamonds with a list of sleepers I like in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft:

Quarterback

Davius Richard QB North Carolina Central-

Davius is a dual-threat quarterback who knows how to run and pass. Davius is also a competitor on the football field and is tough and knows how to win and any team would be lucky to have him.

Running Back

Blake Watson RB Memphis-

Blake’s hands are his biggest asset it’s like he has sticky tape for his hands and he knows how to catch the ball would be perfect for a third down running back. But he also has a decent ability to run the ball as well.

Jacob Kibodi RB Louisiana Lafayette-

Kibodi has great speed and will be worth it for whoever picks up the speedy running back.

Michael Wiley RB Arizona-

If a team drafts him they will be getting a running back who can be a complete back at the next level and do it all.

Wide Receiver

Tejhaun Palmer WR UAB-

Palmer was tough in one-on-ones in practice at the Hula Bowl. He also has the speed, he ran a 4.45 on his pro day. He would be a great pickup for any team and can make some noise in the NFL.

Casey Washington WR Illinois-

This is one of my favorite wide receivers in this draft. Casey has a physical presence at the receiver position and he is a hard worker and will grind through anything and will prove his worth to any team that picks him up.

Je’Quan Burton WR Florida Atlantic-

Burton was a standout at CGS and got called up to the Hula Bowl and made some noise during the Hula Bowl game. Burton could be a great under-the-radar pickup for a team.

Kyle Sheets WR Slippery Rock-

Sheets had a great pro day and any team that gets him will get a guy who will compete day in and day out.

Tight End

Mason Pline TE Furman-

Pline has a basketball background and can make tough catches one-on-one, and would be a gem of a find for any team that decides to get him.

Cam Grandy TE Illinois State-

Big tight end who can block and catch the ball and has great size for a tight end and the team getting him will get a good player to put at tight end.

David Martin-Robinson TE Temple-

David is a playmaker he knows how to make plays and has good hands for a tight end. Needs a little bit of improvement in blocking but with the right coaching can be an enticing option at tight end in the NFL.

Offensive Linemen

Travis Glover OT Georgia State-

Glover is a great size for a tackle. He also moves well. Has some flaws but with the right coaching, it could be a great tackle in the NFL.

Josiah Ezirim OT Eastern Kentucky-

Moves very well for a guy with his size. Needs more development at the professional level but has good hands and would be a fantastic pickup for any team.

Michael Jerrell OT/OG Findlay-

Projects better as a guard at the NFL level but is a big man and has a great personality off the field as well.

Cole Spencer OG Texas Tech-

Ran a very fast 40 times at his pro day and will be a very intriguing addition to any team that gets him.

Brady Latham OG Arkansas-

Whoever gets Brady is getting a great person off the field but also a good guard on the field as well.

Jarrett Kingston OG/OC USC-

Has good versatility inside and has a good presence inside and will make any team who gets him happy.

Edge Rusher

Richard Jibunor Edge Troy-

Richard always has a smile on his face and is a very effective edge rusher for anyone who is going to get him.

Ovie Oghoufo Edge LSU-

Ovie has great speed at the edge rusher position and needs a little bit of improvement in the hands and technique but a good pickup nonetheless for a team.

Defensive Linemen

Jowon Briggs DL Cincinnati-

Briggs needs way more love I guarantee you any team that brings him in he will come in a dominate and put pressure on the quarterback.

Casey Rogers DL Oregon-

Casey runs well for his size and he also has a great personality off the field. Any team would be lucky to get him.

Judge Culpepper DL Toledo-

Had a good season at Toledo in 2023 and has a tough presence inside for any team willing to get him.

Kyler Baugh DL Minnesota-

Baugh has a big-time presence inside and is a tough customer to deal with and would be a great interior defensive lineman for any team.

Linebackers

Isaiah Stalbird LB South Dakota State-

Stalbird is tough and is fast for his size. Stalbird jumps out on tape and even though his height is his biggest knock he can make the plays needed for any team that picks him up.

Logan Blake LB Eastern Kentucky-

Blake is always making the plays you need him to make and any team looking to get him is getting a great person on and off the field.

Colton Adams LB Alabama State-

Very big athletic linebacker who has a great personality off the field and would be a great addition to any team.

Defensive Backs

Carlton Johnson CB Fresno State-

Carlton is insanely fast and he’s good in coverage as well and any team should want to have him.

AJ Woods CB Pittsburgh-

Woods is tough in coverage and is also versatile and would make plays for the team that gets him and show he could be an NFL player.

Robert Javier CB Towson-

Had a 37-inch vertical and is one of the more intriguing FCS cornerbacks and would be worth a look for a team.

Jae’Veyon Morton CB Morgan State-

Even though Morton might not be the best size he is tough as nails and the HBCU prospect should have teams interested in him.

PJ Jules DB Southern Illinois-

Jules is one of the most underrated players in this draft. Jules has a ton of talent and teams should look into him and give him a shot. Jules is also very versatile and could be put anywhere in the secondary.

Quinten Arello S Dartmouth-

In a somewhat weak safety class, Arello should get looks to get drafted because whoever gets him is getting a gem and a freak athlete.

Zion Puckett S Auburn-

Another guy who is getting overlooked but if he gets his shot I feel he is going to dominate in the NFL. He has decent speed and plays well in coverage.
