Detroit Lions Full Seven Round Mock Draft | Lions are sitting in a pretty position
NFL Draft Diamonds wanted to utilize PFN Mock Draft Simulator and put together a Mock Draft for every NFL team before the 2024 NFL Draft in a few weeks.
The 2024 NFL Draft is next week and this is the time of year that Detroit Lions GM Brad Holmes has a history of going all in. The Lions have a pretty strong roster, meaning there aren’t that many pressing needs. Lions general manager Brad Holmes has done an excellent job in free agency supplementing all the work he has done over the past three years in the draft.
Last year, the Lions struck gold with Sam LaPorta’s who now owns the NFL record for the most receptions recorded by a tight end through a player at that position’s first three career games.
Before this year, the Lions last made the playoffs in 2016 and they’ve now made the postseason four times since 2000 (zero postseason appearances from 2000-2010).
I think the Detroit Lions biggest team needs right now are cornerback, EDGE, a defensive tackle, an offensive guard and maybe adding another wide out, but this team is pretty damn good right now on paper.
