Are NFL teams eyeing NC State basketball star D.J. Burns Jr.?
D.J. Burns has been amazing in the NCAA Championship for NC State, but many are saying his NBA future is not very bright. He has not had a ton of love from NBA teams, but I was talking to several NFL teams who would really like to see him as an offensive lineman.
I was told that Burns Jr. if he was willing to put on a pro day he would have all 32 teams show up to watch him.
Burns is a 6’9, 275-pound basketball star with great footwork. That is a big boy, could you imagine him running at you? NFL offensive linemen are getting bigger and more athletic year after year, and Burns could be a pretty interesting prospect. Even Jim Nagy posted a text saying that NFL teams would like to see the big man workout.
Could you imagine Burns turning into an NFL player? I cannot wait to see what he does in the NBA!
