Travis Kelce deletes old post on Twitter after thanking Jesus for taking one for the team
Today on Resurrection Sunday, the Chiefs are trending quite a bit in the news. First, it was Rashee Rice the star wide receiver of the Chiefs who was in a hit and run accident in Dallas and the police are currently looking for him, and now Travis Kelce is in the news.
Kelce the leading receiver of the Chiefs and Rice the number 2 receiver are both in the news, and taking criticism.
Kelce is getting heat for an old Easter post from 2010 because he thanked Jesus for taking one for the team.
Basically saying thanks for getting beaten to death for our sins. Kelce reportedly deleted the tweet when it resurfaced and is now taking heat for it online.

This was 14 years ago, but Taylor Swift’s boyfriend was smart to delete this post. He should be pumped that Jesus was willing to go to the cross, because we suck as humans.
