Steelers sign Russell Wilson to a really cheap contract for a veteran quarterback

The Pittsburgh Steelers just signed Russell Wilson to the biggest steal of a contract in 2024.
The Steelers signed the veteran quarterback for 1.2 million dollars. That is a one-year contract and the team that released him the Denver Broncos will still owe him close to 39 million.
Wilson will now serve as competitor for Kenny Pickett in one of the most fascinating camp battles
The Steelers’ 2024 schedule includes a game in Denver against the Broncos, which now potentially could feature Russell Wilson’s return to play his former team.
1.2 million dollars is very cheap! To consider how cheap that is look at Mitch Trubisky’s contract with the Buffalo Bills.
