Cincinnati Ben-Gals steal the spotlight as top cheerleaders in the NFL
Cheerleaders in the NFL and dance teams in the NBA are well-known for their ability to hype up fans with their complex dance routines and high-energy chants. But when it comes to social media, which dance teams stand out the most?
To find out, Betway has analyzed the amount of Instagram posts, TikTok posts, and the number of Instagram followers for each of the NFL cheerleading squads. A final ranking was then calculated to determine which team is the most popular for their respective leagues on social media.
The Cincinnati Ben-Gals are the most popular cheerleading team in the NFL, with 68,700 TikTok posts
In first place for the most popular NFL cheerleading team is the Cincinnati Ben-Gals, who cheer on the Cincinnati Bengals, with the most TikTok posts with the relevant hashtag (68,700).
Representing the Dallas Cowboys, the second most popular cheerleading team in the NFL is the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, with the most Instagram followers of all NFL dance teams analyzed (663,000). That’s nearly 449,000 more than the team with the second-highest number of followers, the Chiefs Cheerleaders (214,000).
The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, who cheer for the Miami Dolphins, rank third, with the most Instagram posts (18,477) under the team’s relevant hashtag.
