What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
I fell in love with football the first time I saw it when I was a young boy. I was lucky enough to play it when I was in kindergarten because my sister’s team needed more players, and since I was big enough, I was able to join the team.
How was your experience at the Hula Bowl?
The Hula Bowl was a great experience! Not only was I able to showcase my talents in front of a lot of scouts. I was able to play with a lot of the best kids from around the country.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
It’s been my dream to play in the NFL ever since I was a little boy.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Clay Matthews, I grew up watching him when he was on the Packers. I remember watching him and saying I want to be just like him. It would be really cool to meet him.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
Both my mom and my dad inspire me, without them I wouldn’t be where I am today in my career.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
Luckily, throughout my career, I played in a bunch of schemes I don’t have a specific favorite I just love playing football.
What should we know about Casey Rogers the person?
I’m a very hard worker and I never give up.
What stands out about your film the most?
I would say my effort would stand out the most. I take a lot of pride in running to the football and giving 100% every play.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I handle challenges on a football field and in life by staying focused, staying positive and staying persistent.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A team would be getting a very hard worker. That is also a very good teammate. I always put the team in front of myself and take a lot of pride in Giving 100% in everything I do.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
The one thing I love the most about the game of football is the family aspect of it. Some of my best friends in life are from my football teams that I played on.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Bo Nix, even though he’s super well known I feel like he’s underrated compared to the other quarterbacks in this draft and he’s a great leader.
