Ex-Arena football player arrested after an armed police standoff, with his family inside the home
Jonathan McCall played in the Arena Football League for seven years including time with the Detroit Fury. The former Central Michigan football star suffered many concussions in his playing days and does in fact suffer from CTE.
Well, McCall is now facing prison time after he barricaded himself inside his home with his wife and children, and remained in an armed standoff with police.
McCall is facing one count of domestic spousal assault and one count of assault and battery in connection.
McCall held police for several hours. But ultimately, the situation was resolved peacefully.
When police made their way into the home, McCall was wearing a bulletproof vest. He did suffer minor injuries after being tasered.
