Chicago Bears fans and Wrestling fans, MONGO needs our prayers.

Former Bears defensive tackle Steve McMichael has been hospitalized, and his family is now asking for prayers.

If you watched the Award Show, you would have seen that Mongo has waited and fought for his life because he wanted to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for a long time. Well, he was definitely pumped when he found out last week that he secured a spot in the Hall of Fame, but now he is fighting a urinary tract infection and placed in intensive care.

The family thought he had pneumonia. The family is asking for prayers during this tough time.

“Continued prayers are appreciated for Steve’s speedy recovery,” McMichael’s family said in its statement.

A fifteen-year NFL veteran, McMichael initially was drafted by the Patriots in 1980 and released after one year. He played for the Bears from 1981 through 1993. He finished his career in 1994, with the Packers.
