NFL teams love Roman Wilson a lot more than the media | He could be fastest guy at Combine
There is one player in the NFL Draft I continue to hear about from NFL scouts that is not getting any love in Mock Drafts. We actually put him in our Mock Draft yesterday, and I love the pick in the first round!
I see Roman Wilson the Michigan standout wide receiver getting no love from so many Mock Drafts, and it is killing me. I see players like Troy Franklin, Xavier Worthy, Xavier Leggette, and even Adonai Mitchell all getting love, but I have yet to see Roman Wilson get any love.
I get it Roman Wilson is a 6’0 wide receiver, but he is stout. He stands at 190 pounds and is productive. He had 12 touchdowns this year alone on 48 receptions. The dude is a playmaker, he may not get the ball a lot, but he can make plays.
When he tears up the Combine this weekend, will we finally start seeing his name in Mock Drafts early?
Wilson didn’t become the team’s No. 1 target until his final season on campus. Even then, Michigan preferred a physical, run-first first approach.
Wilson ran a 4.37 in high school at the Nike Opening Camp and was clocked hitting 20 miles per hour with a full set of pads on at the Senior Bowl by Zebra Sports.
He is trained in Michigan, one of the best schools in the country and was in a pro-style offense. When you look at this prospect, what don’t you like? I will wait, because this kid is a first-round talent.
