The New England Patriots have finally filled up the coordinator positions, Jerod Mayo and the front office found the next guys in New England and have hopes for the hirings to pan out. 

Springer, a 34-year-old young assistant from the Rams has multiple years of coaching football experience, here are the jobs Springer has had: 

UTEP – Assistant in Football Operations (2011-12) 

UTEP – Graduate Assistant (2013-14) 

Texas A&M – Special Team quality control coach (2015-17)

Arizona – Special Team Coordinator (2018-20) 

  • Rankings under Springer 58th-, 111th-, and 70th-best in Nation

Marshall – Special Team Coordinator (2021) 

  •  75th best in the Nation 

Los Angeles Rams – Special Team Assistant (2022-23) 

The Los Angeles Rams Special Teams were one of the worst these past few seasons, which is causing some concerns within the fan base however, the 34-year-old coach was not the one calling plays. Jeremy Springer now gets a fresh start with New England – the young coach has something to prove. 

Van Pelt, The 53-year-old Offensive Coordinator has lots of work to do on the offensive side of the Football. Alex Van Pelt is coming over from Cleveland where he was the teams Offensive Coordinator. In 2023, Cleveland was 16th in total Offense, 19th in Passing, and 12th in Rushing. 

After an underwhelming NFL playing Career, Van Pelt went into the coaching side of Football, the former NFL QB has numerous amounts of coaching experience under his belt already, here is the 53-year-olds list of former jobs: 

Frankfurt Galaxy – Quarterback coach (2005) 

  • NFL Europe

Buffalo Bills – Offensive quality control coach (2006-07) 

Buffalo Bills – Quarterback Coach (2008) 

Buffalo Bills – Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach (2009) 

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Quarterback Coach (2010-11) 

Green Bay Packers – Running Back Coach (2012-13) 

Green Bay Packers – Quarterback Coach (2014-17) 

Cincinnati Bengals – Quarterback Coach (2018-19) 

Cleveland Browns – Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach (2022-23)

Jerod Mayo and the Patriots front Office have been busy at work trying to find the right coaches for a promising successful future: Next up, free agency and the 2024 NFL Draft.
