Why can’t service academy football players receive NIL money? This should be changed

EA Sports recently came back, and they are offering 11,000 football players a 600 dollar check as well as a free video game for the company to display their names, image and likeness in NCAA College Football 2025, which will be released this year.

Over 5,000 players have already signed up to get their free 600 dollars and to be a part of one of the best football games in the country, but there are three teams that cannot collect the 600 dollars.

Unfortunately, America’s three service academies, are banned from taking any NIL deals, including the one from EA Sports.

“Students at the three service academies, (Army, Navy and Air Force) are prohibited from accepting NIL deals or outside payments”, according to Outkick.com.

This is pretty sick, that these men can go and fight for our country but they cannot receive a check from a company.

This is sad, I hate this for service members. I am also upset that foreigners such as Canadians and other players outside the states cannot receive money either. That is a horrible thing.
