University of Saint Francis football player Jayden Morris was shot and killed
A University of Saint Francis football player Jayden Morris has been identified as the victim of a shooting.
The coroner named the 19-year-old of Fort Wayne, as the sixth homicide this year this year in Allen County.
When Officers arrived they found three men with gunshot wounds. Morris was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The University released this statement:
“The University of Saint Francis community is heartbroken with grief over the passing of Jayden Morris, a freshman and member of our football team. We offer our condolences to Jayden’s family and pray for them during this unimaginably difficult time. We also pray for, and offer our support to, the many teammates and friends who knew and loved Jayden. May Jayden rest in the love of our Heavenly Father, and all those who mourn him be comforted by God’s healing grace.”
