Chris Simms calls Jalen Hurts the Most Overrated Player in the NFL

Jalen Hurts finished the 2022 season with a second-place finish in the MVP race after losing the Super Bowl, but there is one broadcaster who says he is the most overrated player in the NFL.
Chris Simms the son of the iconic Phil Simms, went on record to absolutely smash the Philadelphia Eagles signal caller. I have to disagree with Simms, but here was his take.
“I respect a lot about Jalen Hurts, but I think Jalen Hurts is also like the most overrated player in football,” Simms said. “That’s me, I know I’m wrong, I take a lot of crap about that comment.”
“He plays quarterback for a team that’s an all-star team, they have the best O-line in football, it’s not even close,” Simms continued. “I just think if you put some other quarterback in Philly, you put Kyler Murray in there, you’d say ‘Damn, Kyler’s amazing. Is he the MVP of football?’”
Many will crush Chris Simms for his take, but let’s talk about it for a second, is Hurts overrated?
He did benefit from the “Tush Push” this year that landed him 15 touchdowns, and I know that is not a huge reason why he is good, but would a quarterback like Kyler Murray shine in Philly? I don’t think he would, but who am I?
