Chiefs’ kicker Harrison Butker gives family of Super Bowl parade shooting victim a jersey to bury her

Harrison Butker the kicker of the Kansas City Chiefs has become one of the most automatic kickers in the NFL.
Lisa Lopez-Galvan attended the Feb. 14 event with a Butker jersey. In the aftermath of her tragic passing, Lopez-Galvan’s family expressed their desire to lay the mother of two to rest in a white Harrison Butker jersey but could not find one online anywhere. An initiative began to connect with Butker, and Butker came through just like he does on all his kicks.
“My wife Isabelle and I are heartbroken by the murder of Lisa due to degenerate violence. Murder is a sin that cries out to God for vengeance and I pray the men involved in this tragedy will be brought to justice.
“Hearing that she was a fan of my outspokenness for our shared Catholic Faith makes this even more personal. I am honored to provide a jersey to the family for her to wear. While the family is mourning their loss and grappling with their numerous injuries, I will continue to pray for their healing and the repose of Lisa’s soul.”
This is what the NFL is all about. I am super happy for Harrison Butker to make this happen. God Bless him and the Lopez-Galvan family.
